It is made by talented Balinese artists with a technique handed down for generations using natural bamboo and fiber. Each tube is hand tuned, and will generate a distinctive sound as it catches the breeze. You'll close your eyes and drift off into a relaxed state as you listen to their glorious sound.

With proper care, they should last for years. Place them in an area protected from direct sunlight or extreme weather. During winter months, you should store them in an unheated area for safekeeping until the spring weather arrives. Clean them as necessary, using a damp cloth to remove build up of pollen, dust, mold or mildew. Apply a coat of clear varnish every year or so to protect them from excessive heat and humidity.

The bamboo is harvested and carefully cured to properly dry the tubes, reducing the risk of cracks and prolonging the life of the chime. Bamboo will expand and contract in reaction to nearby changes in the weather, and while hairline cracks may appear, they will not affect the sound or durability of the chime unless they become large.
