Made using sustainable bamboo and natural material, they will last for years with minimal maintenance. Hang them in a protected area, away from direct sunlight or heavy winds. Clean them from time to time using a damp cloth and apply a coat of clear polyurethane as necessary to protect them from excessive heat and humidity.
The bamboo is carefully harvested and cured to properly dry the tubes, but bamboo is sensitive to humidity and sudden temperature changes, so it expands and contracts in reaction to weather conditions. Hairline cracks may appear, but will not affect the sound or durability of the chime unless they become large.
Each chime is inspected before it leaves the warehouse, but in the unlikely event that you receive a chime with damage or large cracks, please photograph it and contact us so we can ship another out to one to you as quickly as possible.
