Made using sustainable bamboo and fiber products, each chime is hand-carved, tuned and painted by Balinese craftsmen. They're sure to be a delightful addition to your porch or outdoor decor as they sway in the breeze, emanating their soft percussive melody.
Place them in an area protected from direct sunlight or heavy winds and take them inside during extreme weather - especially winter months - and store them in an unheated area, such as a shed or garage. Clean them with a damp cloth from time to time and apply a coat of clear varnish every year or so to protect them from heat and humidity.
Bamboo is sensitive to humidity and sudden temperature changes, and expands and contracts in reaction to nearby weather conditions. Hairline cracks may appear, but unless they become large, will not affect the sound or durability of the chime.
Each chime is inspected before it leaves the warehouse, but if you receive a chime that's damaged, or has large cracks, please photograph it and contact us immediately so we can quickly get a new chime sent to you.
